New VAT rates in Switzerland from 2024
New VAT rates will apply in Switzerland from 1 January 2024. The standard rate will be increased from 7.7% to 8.1%, the reduced rate will be increased to 2.6% (previously 2.5%) and the special rate for accommodation will be increased to 3.8% (previously 3.7%).
To make the changeover as easy as possible for you, we have prepared a support article that explains how you can adjust your tax rates with Paymash. In addition, an automatic VAT changeover is planned for the end of the year.
